Registered Dietitian/Certified Diabetes Educator

IMMEDIATE OPENING for a Full Time Registered Dietitian/Certified Diabetes Educator. This position provides professional care with responsibility for evaluating the services provided by the Dietary Department, serving as Program Coordinator for the Diabetes Education Program, providing diabetic self-management education, and medical nutrition therapy.
The dietitian will work with administration and the medical staff to develop departmental policies and goals.
The dietitian will also work closely with other departments as a liaison in order to provide for the total nutritional needs of patients.
Appropriate diabetes self-management will be taught in one on one or group settings to persons with diabetes, families, or caregivers.
The dietitian will perform an individualized needs assessment and coordinate the overall diabetes education program.
As Diabetes Education Program Coordinator, the dietitian will coordinate care planning with other disciplines and provide direct and indirect patient care which reflects initiative, flexibility, and responsibility indicative of professional expectation with minimum supervision.
Reports directly to the CEO.
Must have Degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, Human Nutrition, or comparable major and be a Registered Dietitian with the State of Texas and a Certified Diabetic Educator (CDE).
Five years of experience as a professional Registered Dietitian preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
