Congestive Heart Failure RN or LVN

IMMEDIATE OPENING for Full Time Congestive Heart Failure RN or LVN to work Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm. This position reports directly to the Cardiopulmonary Services Director. Provides direct patient care in Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Monitors patients during exercise sessions. Nursing responsibilities focus on the preventive and restorative healthcare needs of the cardiovascular and pulmonary patient. Provides patient education on disease entities, cardiac risk factors, and behavior modification. Communicates with the Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Medical Director, and the patient's physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including laboratory tests and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in the patient's condition and response to treatment. Participates in performance improvement and QI activities. OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Class I

Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing as a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred.
Personal job-related skills: Effective oral and written communication skills; basic computer knowledge.
Licensure, registry, or certification: Registered Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse currently licensed by the State of Texas. Certified Diabetes Educator preferred. BCLS and ACLS required.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years RN or LVN care experience.
Must maintain continuing education credits for LVN or RN license.
Knowledgeable and experienced in Cardiac and Pulmonary disease, Diabetes, and CHF processes and treatment.
Willing to attend training and workshops to enhance job performance and knowledge.
Physical and Mental Requirements: Duties of the position require extended periods of standing and walking. Bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
