What you?ll do?..




  • Assume primary responsibility for providing on-site skilled nursing triage, assessment, planning and provision of patient care in order to maximize the palliation of symptoms when patient care needs arise after hours.

  • Perform initial assessment of individuals referred for care and determine eligibility for admission of the patient as appropriate; perform therapeutic and preventative nursing procedures as directed by the attending physician.

  • Provide support and assistance at time of patient?s death though clinical assessment, support to the family, coordination with funeral home of choice.

  • Maintains regular communication with members of the interdisciplinary team, alerting attending physician and assigned Case Manager to any changes in the patient?s condition or needs as well as potential problems or issues.

What your skills and qualifications are?..




  • A registered nurse licensed in the state of work, or in accordance with the Board of Nurse Examiners rules for Nurse Licensure Compact.?

  • Two years? experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical setting, hospice preferred.?

  • Scheduled On Call from 5:00pm to 8:00am; Monday ? Thursday each week and 5:00pm Friday to 8:00am Monday or as scheduled by direct supervisor.

  • Must complete a minimum of 20 hours of continuing education within each 24- month licensure period.?

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.?

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must possess a motor vehicle in good working condition, which is available during work hours, with current proof of insurance.?

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
